Rank is determined entirely by confirmed cumulative bids. The product with the highest total confirmed bid occupies the #1 spot. There are no algorithms, engagement metrics, or subjective review panels.

The minimum bid to launch a product on LaunchWars is $1 USD. Bids and upgrades are made in whole-dollar amounts.

Can I upgrade my product rank later?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Products are indexed by their canonical website URL. When you enter an existing listing, you only pay the difference between your current total and your new desired target bid.

How are ties handled on the leaderboard?

If two products have the exact same total confirmed bid, the older confirmed bid stays ranked above the newer one. To pass an opponent, you must bid at least $1 more.

Are bids refundable?
